Daniel Lang, P.Eng., P.E.

Director

Daniel Lang received his Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alberta.

His professional practice has focused on the design and analysis of high, medium and low voltage power systems for heavy industrial customers within the petroleum, petrochemical, and utility sectors. Daniel’s main areas of expertise includes the protection and control design of mission critical power systems, as well as specialized power system EMTP modeling, specifically dynamic machine simulations, harmonic analysis, voltage stability, and forensic fault analyses.

Daniel is a Professional Engineer registered in the Provinces of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, the Territories of Yukon, Nunavut and the Northwest Territories, and the State of Nevada (US).

Ray Love, P.Eng.

Director

Ray Love received a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan.

Ray has worked in the power utility, power generation, pulp and paper and consulting sectors primarily in Alberta and Saskatchewan. His work in the power and industrial sectors include Operations, Maintenance, Engineering design and management and Project Management.  His work in the consulting sector has been primarily focused on Oil and Gas midstream and refining projects. Ray’s experience includes industrial networks, PLC and DCS control systems, UPS and DC systems, EHT, Area classification, standby generation, thermal, gas, hydro, biomass and wind generation, distribution and transmission up to 500kV, Engineering Management, Project Management and Commissioning.

Ray is a Professional Engineer registered in the Provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan.
